    To report abuse to Missouri’s adult abuse investigators, call the hotline at 800-392-0210 or visit the online form at https://health.mo.gov/safety/abuse/
  • Police – Call 911 if you are in danger right now or if someone broke the law.

To Talk to or Find an Advocate:

  • DeafLEAD – Has 24/7 crisis support and services for deaf or hard of hearing victims of abuse in Missouri. To find out more, go to https://deaflead.com/services/ or talk with someone on video phone at 321-800-3323 or text HAND to 839863.
  • Missouri Coalition Against Domestic and Sexual Violence – Helps find a victim advocate through the MOCADSV map of victim service organizations in Missouri. Click on your location on the map to find agencies near you. https://mocadsv.wpengine.com/how-to-get-help/
  • Missouri Long-term Care Ombudsman Program – Helps residents in long-term care facilities, like nursing homes, by making sure they are treated well. Find your local Ombudsman by calling 800-309-3282.
  • National Sexual Assault Hotline – RAINN gives 24/7 crisis support, information and referrals to local resources for people who have been sexually assaulted or abused. You can call the hotline at 800-656-4673 or chat online at rainn.org.
  • Suicide and Crisis Lifeline – Call 988 if you need to talk right away to a mental health counselor about how you’re feeling.

  • Missouri Protection and Advocacy Services (Mo P&A) – Offers advocacy, referral and legal services. If you believe your abuse report was mishandled or have not received a follow-up response, call 800-392-8667 or visit http://www.moadvocacy.org/Abuse-Neglect.html.
  • SAMHSA National Helpline – Gives 24/7 referrals to local mental health services, support groups and community-based organizations. Call 800-662-HELP (4357) or TTY: 800-487-4889 to get mental health help.
  • Victim Connect – Gives information and support to victims of crime. They can tell you your rights and options based on your story. They will also help you find local services and resources. Call or text the helpline at 855-484-2846 or chat online at https://victimconnect.org/.
